Many companies would LOVE to promote your music to the world, if you would just give them permission to play ONE of your songs without payment.

- the "Karma Points" giveaway on PayPlay.fm
Inside your CD Baby members login area, you'll see a place where you can give us extra permission to give ONE original song of your choice to these types of outlets.
Don't worry about piracy for this song. Let people play it, copy it, share it, give it away. Have the confidence that if the world heard it, they will pay for more. Think of it like the movie trailer - like the hit single sent to radio - the song that makes people want to go buy your music.
It's not required that you do this, but if you do it will give you more exposure and lead to more sales.
It WILL still be for sale, at the full price, everywhere else. Remember, we are in the business of selling your music, not giving it away. So we would only allow the free promo track for situations where we really believed it would sell more music for you!
